My name is Yaron Jakob. I have been a successful Chinese Medicine practitioner since 2000. I completed my studies in Israel with well known doctors (Dr. Niazov, Dr. Rodrigez, Adi Goldenberg) followed by several internships in China to deepen my knowledge.
I was a Chinese Medicine professor for several years in Reidman College and still serve as a mentor for new graduates. Throughout my practice I have helped many patients with neurological, dermatological, orthopaedic, digestive, and hormone-related problems, as well as different types of pain and emotional conditions. I also have extensive experience with women’s health issues — including menstrual disorders, menopausal symptoms, fertility and pregnancy — and undertook my doula training with highly respected Gila Ronel.
I pride myself in accurate diagnosis and providing as gentle acupuncture as possible. I offer a wide range of treatments including Chinese herbs, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, shiatsu massage, and lead guided meditations to help patients with emotional stagnation and stress-related conditions. One of the aims of my treatments is to teach my patients how they can use dietary and lifestyle advice to enhance the effects of Chinese medicine, limit pain and promote self healing.

Shiatsu is a form of healing touch, which offers us a way of supporting our body at all times of our life. It's a complete health care system which works with the body’s own resources. Like acupuncture, Shiatsu stimulates the body’s vital energy Qi.
Chinese herbal medicine is part of a larger healing system called Traditional Chinese Medicine. Herbs are prescribed to restore energy balance to the opposing forces of energy - Yin and Yang - that run through invisible channels.
What and how we eat has lots of influence on our health. In a few sessions you can learn what type of food can benefit and damage. And by changing the body's metabolism we will learn how to commit and find will power to change our life for good.
